Wendy Williams is back and ready to take on the world. After taking time off to focus on her health, the 58-year-old talk show host is looking forward to getting back to her projects and pursuing her goals.
Williams, who recently left a wellness facility after treatment for lymphedema and Graves disease, is determined to make the most of her time. With a trip to Paris and California on the horizon, the former Wendy Williams Show host is looking forward to experiencing new things, while she’s still young enough.
In addition to traveling, Williams is also busy preparing for her upcoming Wendy Experience podcast, her first big project since the end of her talk show in June. She’s also focused on her health, following a holistic diet and working out regularly at the gym.
“She is ready to get things rolling and get back to being Wendy Williams,” her publicist, Shawn Zanotti, told Yahoo Entertainment.
Williams has also expressed her desire to get back on television and make appearances on shows like Seth Meyers, Joy Behar and The View. “I am formerly retired,” she told a paparazzo that followed her into a Petco.
Williams shook up daytime television for 13 seasons as host of her show. However, it ended amid personal problems, related to her health and finances. Now that she’s back, she’s determined to make the most of her time and pursue her dreams.
“I’m going to take a year of my life to fly and do and see things I’ve never done before,” she told the crowd at her one-time radio station’s annual WBLS Circle of Sisters event.
It’s clear that Wendy Williams is ready to take on the world and show the world what she’s made of.
