Mengge “Mango” Bao, originally from China, has established himself as a remarkable figure in the world of music production and composition. Mengge Bao’s journey reads like a symphony. Starting as an engineering student, he orchestrated a transition to music, teaching himself production using software like Cubase and Logic Pro. His passion crescendoed when he founded the “Ideal Youth” recording studio, where he harmonized production teams and orchestrated unforgettable live events.

Symphony of Teamwork: “The Simpsons” and Apple TV

At Berklee College of Music, Mengge specialized in Contemporary Writing and Production and Film Scoring. His compositions danced across genres, leaving audiences spellbound. But Mengge wasn’t content with just notes; he wanted to conduct emotions.

Working at Bleeding Fingers Music, Mengge hit high notes on projects like “The Simpsons” and Apple TV’s “Prehistoric Planet.” His library music for Extreme Music was a symphony of innovation. Freelancing, he fine-tuned his craft, creating crescendos that echoed across continents and mediums, from commercials and film to various acclaimed musical releases.

Crafting Musical Narratives: A Reverence for Storytelling

Mengge’s secret? He believes music is the heartbeat of storytelling. His compositions aren’t just notes; they’re emotional landscapes. As Lead Orchestrator for “All These Years,” he wove intricate melodies, bridging vision and emotion. Witnessing his work performed globally was like hearing the universe hum in harmony.

As Audio Engineer and Mixing Maestro for “Johnny Keep Walking,” Mengge didn’t just mix sound; he stirred souls. His score whispered secrets, punctuating drama without overpowering visuals. It was like painting with sound, each brushstroke evoking feelings. Mengge’s versatility is legendary. In drama, he weaves heartstrings; in comedy, he tickles funny bones. His music isn’t just background noise; it’s the heartbeat of every scene. Audiences don’t just watch; they feel.

Future Prospects: A Symphony in Progress

Today, Mengge’s baton conducts symphonies for films, commercials, and documentaries. His upcoming projects—scoring “Below Deck” with Afrobeat vibes and infusing “The Challenge” with synth-heavy drama—are like musical constellations aligning. For Vanderpump Villa, Mengge blends synth and orchestral elements, creating a crescendo of action and passion. It’s not just music; it’s magic.

Mengge Bao—the composer, conductor, and emotion architect—reminds us that music isn’t just sound; it’s the language of our hearts. Mengge Bao’s passion resonates in every note, and his extraordinary abilities compose a symphony that echoes through time.
