It’s no secret that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are head over heels for each other. On their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, the pair proved that their commitment to each other was stronger than ever by getting matching tattoos.
The two lovebirds took to Instagram to share photos of their new ink, which were simple yet meaningful. Lopez’s tattoo was the infinity symbol with an arrow through it and the couple’s names worked into the design. Affleck’s tattoo featured two arrows crossing with the initials “J” and “B.”
The tattoos signify the couple’s commitment to each other. Lopez captioned her post, “Commitment ♾️ Happy Valentine’s Day my love 🤍,” and included hashtags such as “commitment is sexy,” “this is us then” and “this is us now.”
The post also included a series of photos of the couple throughout the years, including a photo of Affleck recreating Lopez’s “Jenny From the Block” yacht video, with a hand on her bikini-clad bottom.
The tattoos are the perfect way to show their love and commitment to one another. It’s clear that they are in it for the long haul and have no intention of letting their marriage end anytime soon.
The two were recently at the Grammys, and although Affleck appeared to be bored, Lopez later revealed that it was just exhaustion from his workload. The couple also made a playful cameo in Affleck’s Dunkin’ commercial during the Super Bowl.
Lopez and Affleck eloped last July and have since blended their families. With their matching tattoos, it’s clear that they are in it for the long haul and are more in love than ever.
