Lydia Ko and Honeymooning in New Zealand
When it comes to honeymoons, no one can top Lydia Ko. The current world number one recently got married and spent her honeymoon in her home of New Zealand. On her honeymoon, Ko and her husband Jun Chung went to Tara Iti Golf Club and had an incredibly memorable day.
The talented golfer made a hole-in-one and broke the women’s course record. Ko was elated with the experience, saying “It really couldn’t have been any better.” Ko and Chung played a lot of golf on their honeymoon, enjoying the mutual activity in their new life together.
The hole-in-one may have been a good omen for Ko’s future. She returned to competition last week with a win at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International. Now, she’ll try to keep the trend going this week at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
Ko’s honeymoon in New Zealand may have been the best honeymoon of all. She was able to experience the beauty of her home country and enjoy a special moment with her husband. It’s certainly a trip they’ll remember forever.
