EXCLUSIVE: Ava Justin will star in award-winning indie filmmaker Joel Paul Reisig’s upcoming romantic set on Mackinac Island.
“The new film is about two couples who fall in love in the same location, yet decades apart,” divulges Ava. The stories of the two couples intertwine, and the past begins to impact the present. “When a career-driven woman finds a note in her old purse, it changes everything,” said Ava.
At just 18 years old, Ava has established herself as one of the youngest film executives, having co-written and executive produced three feature films. Her most recent project, “Joy of Horses,” which she completed at 17, showcases her talent and drive. Currently, she is focused on finding new creative opportunities for both herself and others in Hollywood’s post-strike environment.
Ava is not only an executive but also an actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker. “Joy of Horses,” her latest film, was released through her company, Ava Justin Productions, to wide acclaim. As she continues to pursue her passion, Ava is starring in an upcoming film that promises to captivate audiences.
Now, alongside her skills as a producer, Ava is starring in a lead role. “To be able to create not just one film but several with a talented team whom I’ve learned so much from has truly been amazing. Currently, Ava continues to write scripts for various genres and is working on another film, “Terror on 1003”. She is the main writer for this film and will make her directorial debut with its creation.
